From Concept to Phenomenon: Helping Build the Celsius Brand!

Sixteen years ago, a groundbreaking idea for a calorie-burning drink, Celsius, emerged. What began as a local company, Celsius, soon partnered with Omni Advertising, and we were hired to help build their brand. What transpired was a journey that saw Celsius transform into a huge, household name, now enjoyed by millions across the country.

This month marks the 16-year anniversary of that exciting brand journey. While Omni Advertising is primarily focused on delivering exceptional marketing solutions for auto dealers, this milestone is a powerful testament to our deep-rooted expertise in brand building that extends beyond automotive. Our proven success in diverse fields ensures that we bring a new standard of creative excellence and strategic innovation to all our clients, particularly our core automotive partners.

We’re incredibly proud of the strategic brand building and marketing support we provided to Celsius in its early days. We helped launch Celsius nationally, working tirelessly to get Celsius into stores, state by state, encompassing both small and large chains. Our involvement was comprehensive; we assisted with the logo and can design, ensuring the product stood out on shelves. Crucially, we developed our entire campaign around their powerful Unique Selling Proposition: “A calorie burning drink.” We highlighted that each can of Celsius burned up to 100 calories, a truly compelling benefit for consumers.

To drive this message home, we developed a national campaign with a memorable jingle. Our very own Ken Hudson, on the fly, penned the catchy lyrics, and we licensed the iconic “Disco Inferno” by The Trammps to create the unforgettable jingle: “Burn baby burn with Celsius. Burn baby burn, burn those calories down. Celsius.” The compelling copy that defined Celsius’s early messaging was a collaborative effort between Ken and Lori Natarus-Stille, our VP and Creative Director, further cementing our comprehensive approach to brand development. The consistent operational excellence overseen by leaders like Gail Yaciuk, our current COO, has always been integral to translating creative vision into tangible market success.
